Papers we use and recommend

Legion Lenox Cotton Drawing Paper
Ph neutral, 100% cotton paper made in the United States
Legion Lenox Cotton Drawing Paper has no deckled edges so is very easy to work with when making smaller prints. It’s in the same price range as the other papers, usually falling about in the middle.
I like Legion Lenox for its very neutrally toned white.

Legion Stonehenge Paper
Acid-free, 100% cotton paper
Legion Stonehenge is a great option. It has a notably smoother finish than Legion Lenox and has two deckled edges. This is right in the middle in terms of affordability, though all three really are quite close. One advantage of Stonehenge is that it comes in a variety of colors.
Legion Stonehenge was a favorite in art school and is my recommendation to anyone getting into printmaking but not annoyingly particular about paper (it’s inevitable, don’t fight it).

Canson Edition Paper
Acid and lignin-free, 100% cotton paper
Canson Edition is the go to at Banshee the Kid. Canson Edition is the slightly more expensive option, but the texture, distinct velvety feel, and ability to show hand torn edges make it worth it.
I also like that the two sides have distinctly different feels. Ultimately, a great and not too expensive printmaking paper.
